Our warm friendly old inn is hidden away on the western side of the village but well worth a visit for it's unspoilt architecture and equally good beer and food.
The pub was originally a pair of Victorian cottages and is essentially one bar, with darts being played in a small room off to one side.
The upper part of the pub houses a restaurant serving a wide range of home made food.
Our brand new menus are now live - we also serve takeaways.
Some of our beers are served directly from casks behind the bar with regular guest ales and seasonal ales.
The well-beamed lounge area features a real fire and is very cosy in winter. No piped music is played in the pub, although there is occasionally some live music. We also have quiz night every Wednesday and Live music twice a month.

Amazing old pub with awesome service from the owners & local staff. Delicious Sunday roast complimented with delicious dessert. Great wine & beer selection. Host & staff are amazing. Highly recommended.
We love The Old House, was here for a family birthday on Friday and it was absolutely rammed! Nearly every table of 6 ate, mains and puddings!! It was crazy busy, which bought a great atmosphere also!
Sunday Roast at The Old House at Home is just the best ever. We had Roast beef as usual and it was so good , beef medium rare, just the way we like it, plenty of seasonal veg, crunchy roast potatoes and cauliflower Cheese and of course Yorkshire pud, portions are always very generous.thank you Sam and Andy.
